Roisin & Kate is a new start-up clothing brand, created by two cousins from Wiltshire. They specialise in nighttime and daytime dresses for women aged 18 to 35. The girls were looking for an image that was modern and ostentatious yet simple, with the versatility to be carried across a future expanding range.
Quiet & Confident
Roisin & Kate have two ranges; subtle daytime dresses, and attention grabbing midnight outfits. I've chosen to translate this through their branding. Offering a calm and quiescent logo to represent their day time range, for smart casual and work wear. Whilst in contrast having a fun and courageous style too - featuring foil texture upon a midnight blue surrounding. These individual styles can directly represent each range, being used on their tags and packaging for the suitable products in their range.
Function & Form
To match their occasion based colour schemes, it's important the idea is used effectively. Every part of the customer's experience should be easily defined through clear branding; from marketing, to website content, and finally packaging. Above and below are examples of how different points of contact can be used to portray their contrasting style - as though they're sub-brands under the Roisin & Kate title.
