Logo & Identity Design
"Kane understood the concept from the beginning; so much so, that I was thrilled when the very first designs were submitted. He had captured the exact look and feel that I was looking for and did so incredibly quickly. With the logo finished after minor adjustments, his speed and efficiency cut my delivery programme by a week - first rate understanding, design, and delivery."
— Martin, The Cornerhouse
Gin Society is club set up by The Cornerhouse, Frome. Running regular events, the group are able to sample, compare, and discuss a number gins, as well as receive talks from local distillers.
Style
As a members only experience club, I wanted Gin Society to have an exclusive and luxury feel. Early discussions with Martin featured talks of a script font, delivering an independent and high quality message.
The design I've created uses a Bebas sans serif foundation, with an interlaced script. A clear and simple colour scheme add to the contemporary and chic design. To display well on multiple assets (member cards, tees, paper bags, flyers, and digital) I've setup and variety of lockups.
Versatile Experiences
The Gin Society identity is maintained throughout lockups, confining to colour scheme and fonts - although they are interchangeable. Flexible lockup choices match a versatile lead design (see below). I personally enjoy how the script interlaces through the solid sans serif, representing an encompassing and fresh experience - which is carried throughout the multiple gins tasted and sampled at the Gin Society.
