Identity Design

Based in South Wales, Virtus Tech are a social investing platform that allows users to have complete control of their investments, and make their money go further. Users can choose to simply sit back and automatically follow experienced investors, or make their own moves in the market.
Logo Design
The primary logo design was created to hold an agile but considered presence – positioning the team and platform as a fresh and forward thinking approach, to a typically dated environment. The name ‘Virtus’ represents valour, and we wanted this to be carried through the design system too – keeping messaging bold and upfront, with simple but effective layouts. The ‘V’ icon mark is not only well balanced and precise (similar to their outlook on investments); but it’s memorable, abstract and supports positive decision making with the two pathways.
Supporting Assets
Our work focused on transforming their identity from a simple start-up logo with limited design assets, to a comprehensive and consistent system. Deliverables included a responsive logo, social templates, website design, email signatures, PDF guides and more.
Design System
The supporting design system is formulated using a collection of gradients, flowing strobe backgrounds, and other elements to continue their primary characteristics throughout the identity touch points.
